2011 Church Creek Chardonnay, Steel-fermented
Excellent with oysters, clams and seafood pairings, as well as with poultry, pork, salmon, shellfish, cream-based sauces and pastas.
100% Dijon clone 95/96 Chardonnay fermented and aged in stainless steel, temperature-controlled tanks. The result is a wine with a tropical fruit flavor and crisp acidity, with delicate hints of pear and green melon, and mineral elements. This unoaked Chardonnay, at a sensible 12.5% alcohol, recalls Burgundy more than Napa. This is a pure expression of the varietal and Eastern Shore terroir, an American Viticultural Area (AVA).
Cabernet Franc (75%), Merlot (22%), and Petit Verdot (3%)
A well-balanced blend of the 2009 and 2010 vintages with a very rich, ripe tannic structure. Flavors of ripe raspberry with a velvety mouth feel. Floral notes of violet on the nose and a hint of pepper on the finish. Barrel-aged in new French oak for two years.
2012 Church Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

Grown in a maritime climate on well-drained soils, our Cabernet Sauvignon develop into a well-balanced wine with a ripe tannic structure and flavors of cherry and blackberry complimented with notes of cedar and spice. There were only 490 cases produced.
