Virginia Beach, VA: It’s the end of the summer and time to celebrate the return of Virginia Beach to its local residents. For many, part of that celebration has become the Neptune Festival’s famous end of summer party, the Endless Summer Beach Bash. In typical Neptune fashion, this popular event celebrates the local’s reclaiming of the beach and the fabulous weather that’s still here to enjoy. Held in tradition at the Cavalier Beach Club at 42nd Street, the evening promises a casually elegant, yet sparkling night of dining, dancing and socializing, all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean shoreline.
Benefiting the Children’s Hospital of King’s Daughters and the Virginia Beach Health and Surgery Center, the festive evening welcomes more than 600 guests decked out in vividly imaginative attire - everything from black tie to island wear. Guests will dance the night away to the ultra-hip dance band, “Right On,” while enjoying sumptuous heavy hors d’oeuvres and plenty of ice-cold beverages. It is a perfect evening by the sea. Tickets are available for $100 per person and can be purchased by calling 757/498-0215 or at the Neptune Festival Office at 265 Kings Grant Road, Suite 102, in Virginia Beach.
The Endless Summer Beach Bash, sponsored by Toyota, is produced by the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival. The event is part of the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival’s 34th anniversary season of community celebration and special events. For more information call (757) 498-0215.
